Product Description

PSA nitrogen generator

A PSA  nitrogen generator is a specialized piece of equipment designed to produce high-purity nitrogen gas by selectively extracting nitrogen molecules from the surrounding air. These generators are utilized in various industries and applications where a consistent and reliable supply of nitrogen gas is required. Here’s a detailed description of a typical PSA nitrogen generator:

Cutting-Edge Nitrogen Generation Technology: A PSA nitrogen generator employs advanced technology to separate nitrogen molecules from ambient air effectively. It utilizes the principle of adsorption to capture oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other impurities while allowing nitrogen to pass through, resulting in a stream of highly concentrated and pure nitrogen gas.

Robust Construction: PSA nitrogen generators are built with durability in mind. They feature rugged enclosures and high-quality components that ensure long-term performance and minimal maintenance requirements. These systems are engineered to meet strict quality and safety standards, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

Dual Adsorption Towers: Most PSA nitrogen generators consist of two adsorption towers, each filled with specialized adsorbent materials like carbon molecular sieve or zeolite. This dual-tower configuration enables a continuous nitrogen supply, as one tower adsorbs impurities while the other regenerates.

Precision Control System: These generators incorporate advanced control systems that manage the entire nitrogen production process. Automated algorithms control the switching between adsorption and regeneration phases, guaranteeing a steady and uninterrupted flow of high-purity nitrogen gas.

High Purity Output: One of the primary advantages of PSA nitrogen generators is their ability to produce nitrogen gas with exceptionally high purity levels, often exceeding 99.9%. This level of purity makes the generated nitrogen suitable for critical applications in industries such as food packaging, electronics manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness: PSA nitrogen generators are highly efficient, using the natural composition of air to create nitrogen gas without the need for external nitrogen sources or storage tanks. This feature reduces operational costs and eliminates the logistical challenges associated with traditional nitrogen delivery methods.

Versatile Applications: PSA nitrogen generators find applications in a wide range of industries. They are commonly used in food and beverage packaging to extend the shelf life of products, in electronics manufacturing to prevent oxidation during production, and in pharmaceuticals for nitrogen blanketing and purging processes.

Safety Measures: Safety is a paramount concern for PSA nitrogen generators. These systems are equipped with safety features such as pressure sensors, alarms, and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure safe and trouble-free operation while protecting against potential hazards.

In summary, a PSA nitrogen generator is a state-of-the-art device that offers a reliable, cost-effective, and efficient solution for producing high-purity nitrogen gas on-site. Its robust construction, precise control system, and versatility make it an invaluable tool in numerous industries, ensuring a constant and dependable supply of pure nitrogen whenever and wherever it is needed.

Working principle:

PSA, also known as Pressure Swing Adsorption. Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) is a new gas separation technology that utilizes the difference in adsorption performance of molecular sieves on different gas molecules to separate gas mixtures. It uses air as the raw material and utilizes a highly efficient solid adsorbent to selectively adsorb nitrogen and oxygen, separating them from the air. The separation effect of carbon molecular sieve on nitrogen and oxygen is mainly based on the different diffusion rates of these two gases on the surface of carbon molecular sieve. Gas with smaller diameter (oxygen) diffuses faster and more enters the solid phase of the molecular sieve. In this way, nitrogen enriched components can be obtained in the gas phase. After a period of time, the adsorption of oxygen by the molecular sieve reaches equilibrium. Based on the different adsorption capacity of carbon molecular sieve for adsorbed gas under different pressures, reducing the pressure causes the carbon sieve to remove the adsorption of oxygen. This process is called regeneration. The pressure swing adsorption method usually involves parallel connection of two towers, alternating pressure adsorption and decompression regeneration, to obtain a continuous nitrogen flow.

Product features:

1. The raw air is taken from nature, and only compressed air and power supply are needed to produce nitrogen. The equipment has low energy consumption and low operating costs.
2. The nitrogen purity adjustment is convenient, and the nitrogen purity is only affected by the nitrogen exhaust volume. The purity of ordinary nitrogen production can be adjusted between 95% -99.99%, while high-purity nitrogen production machines can be adjusted between 99% -99.9999%.
3. The equipment has a high degree of automation, fast gas production, and can be unmanned. To start or shut down, simply press the button and nitrogen will be generated within 10-15 minutes of starting up.
4. The equipment process flow is simple, the equipment structure is compact, the footprint is small, and the equipment device has strong adaptability.
5. The blizzard method is used to load the sieve, avoiding the phenomenon of sieve pulverization caused by high-pressure airflow impact, and ensuring the long-term use of the molecular sieve
6. The digital flowmeter is a secondary instrument for industrial process monitoring with pressure compensation and high precision, and has the function of instantaneous flow rate and cumulative calculation.
